August 28, Shunde Hualong Paint Factory, the predecessor of Hualong Paint, was established.

Hualong Paint Factory was transformed into Hualong Paint Industry Co., Ltd., mainly engaged in producing oleoresin products.

Recognized as a private technology enterprise; passed the ISO quality management system certification; water-based PU wood paint was listed as a key new product in Guangdong Province.

Undertook the development of some products in the “National Spark Program”; became a high-tech enterprise in Guangdong Province and a private technology enterprise in Guangdong Province.

The product was rated as a “National Inspection-Exempt Product”; passed the IS014001 environmental management system; passed the certification of China’s environmental labeling products; undertook the project of “Industrialization of Healthy and Harmless Interior Wall Coatings” in the “National Spark Plan”;

Successfully developed water-based decorative paint for woodware; held the summit forum “Let the world listen to Hualong’s voice – clear water and blue sky, create an ecological homeland” in Diaoyutai Hotel, Beijing, solemnly issued a “green declaration” to the world.

Participated in the formulation of chemical industry standards; became the president unit of China Building Decoration Association; was rated as the vice president unit of the third council of Shunde Paint Chamber of Commerce.

The subject project “Technical research on metal cross-linked molecular film-forming two-component water-based wood paint” passed the appraisal of scientific and technological achievements organized by the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau.
